Hugo Silberman
Hugo Silberman was named Vice President of Research and Development at RAD Data Communications in 1999. In this position he oversees a work force that is comprised of almost 30 percent of all RAD employees.
Silberman originally joined RAD’s Research and Development department in 1989, and previously served in a number of positions, including Broadband Access Manager. He holds several patents in the field of telecommunications.
Born in Argentina in 1961, Silberman is a graduate of the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. He is married and the father of three children.
RAD’s Research and Development, which is ISO 9001 certified, spans diverse disciplines, from ATM broadband transmission to IP/Ethernet/MPLS, Frame Relay, TDMoIP®, E1/T1, E3/T3, broadband transmission, xDSL, fiber optics, voice compression, rate, interface and protocol conversion, routing, ASIC and integrated management.
